Postpartum doula Carri providing calm, compassionate family support

MEET CARRI

A calm, steady presence during the postpartum season.

I am a postpartum doula with a deep, lived understanding of families, transitions, and the realities of caring for both parents and children. A mom of four children with the oldest & youngest being 20 years apart, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of parenting—from newborn days to young adulthood. I welcomed my youngest child at age 44, giving me personal insight into the unique joys, challenges, and considerations of being an older parent.

I homeschooled my children for five years of their education, further strengthening my skills in patience, adaptability, and individualized support. For over a decade, I served as a foster parent to infants and toddlers, including children with special needs. This experience strengthened my ability to provide calm, responsive, and compassionate care while supporting families through complex and emotionally charged seasons of life. Additionally, I hold a degree in Social Work & am a practicing Life and Health Coach.

My background allows me to support families holistically, attending not only to physical recovery and newborn care, but also to emotional wellbeing, and family dynamics during the postpartum period. I prioritize listening deeply so families feel heard, validated, and supported without judgment.

I bring a wide range of experience to my work. Others describe me as authentic, compassionate, hardworking, attentive to detail, and a good listener. I am honored to walk alongside families during the postpartum season, offering steady support, practical guidance, and a grounded, nonjudgmental presence.
